PROJECT # 2 --TITLE: B E Y O N D S C I E N C E -- (5- 15 minutes)

SYNOPSIS: Paul Mesmer is a PhD student in Medical Cybernetics and Artificial Intelligence. Paul and his girlfriend, Linnéa, have invented a noninvasive neuro-electric sensor system that reveals what the human mind sees and thinks, by first intercepting natural fundamental brain frequencies and then decoding cerebro-electromagnetic waves. They have also fabricated a “neurophone” (an electronic telepathy machine) capable to translate brain radiation signals into any audible spoken languages. One day, they are not able to find a private room in the library. They end up on a floor where group meeting and talking are allowed. Behind Linnéa is a group of girls working on a theatrical play. A girl named Lisa and two other girls in the same group perceive that Linnéa says to them to "shut the fuck up". Lisa aggressively pushes Linnéa. Paul jumps off his chair to defend Linnéa, but Lisa’s boyfriend sparks a fight with Paul by dropping his laptop on the floor. By the time security guards arrive, Linnéa got scratched on her left cheek, and Paul’s laptop was destroyed by Lisa’s boyfriend... Two university security officers come to the library to file a report. They are now verifying Paul and Linnéa’s student IDs. Lisa and her two friends say: “This crazy Swedish bitch verbally offended us”. However, Linnéa denies the allegation. The security officers request to see the recording tape from the surveillance camera. The video shows that Paul is actually the one talking, and Linnéa is quietly listening to Paul at the moment that Lisa and others claim to see and hear Linnéa in her own “voice” talking to them arrogantly…

1. The short documentary is survey-like: Foreign Medical Student life in Poland.
I can not tell anybody the questions, but they are related to your experience in medical school (e.g. how to survive in medical school, sports, extracurricular activities, creating balance in your life while in medical school, etc.)
I will shoot it on Saturday Feb 26th @ 11:00am. Shooting location: Outdoor - Park close to Mazowiecka dorm.
